Ireland Elizabeth traveled across the ocean to teach 80 Irish and English men and women at Ballymaloe Cookery School in County Cork, Ireland. Needless to say, they were fired up about American grilling and barbecue. Elizabeth is pictured with Darina Allen, owner of the school and her students.
Gretchen-Judge Gretchen is a certified Kansas City Barbecue Society. This year, while in Lynchburg, TN judging, the Jack Daniel’s barbecue contest Gretchen’s motto was “Stomach Don’t Fail Me Now.” Putting her skills to work, she consumed nearly 15 lbs. of meat. Gretchen is pictured bundled up (for an unseasonably cold day) and donning all of her judge’s credentials.
